Aleali May has produced some of the most sought after Jordan releases for women during her time with the brand. She started off her collaboration with the Air Jordan 1 "Shadow", the first collaboration from a woman on the brand whose sneaker released in unisex sizing. She then hit us with a special pack with WNBA star Maya Moore with the "Court Lux" 1, her once friends and family Air Jordan 6 'Millenial Pink" and now Aleali is thorwing it back to her roots once more with the "Califia" collection. This is Aleali's first full apparel collection with the brand.
The collection takes inspiration from Aleali May's dance team and teacher. It combines the colors of two different schools that Aleali attended to sharpen her skills. The apparel collection will include a black varsity jacket adorned with both Aleali and Jordan brand patches, tearaway trackpants, a vintage inspired tee, there's also the layered top and pleated shorts. But, the star of the show is the new Air Jordan 1 Zoom Comfort 'Califia.'
As many of you have seen, the Air Jordan 1 Zoom "Califia" features a green and blue upper with hints of cream. The sneaker will come with two additional lace options and will retail for $140 USD. Hopefully, we see the ladies catch a W with this sneaker release. This is the first zoom comfort in Aleali's lineup of Jordan 1 releases.
