I never in a million years thought I would do something like this! I tell this story all the time about how my grandma drove me around the city to every single Footlocker imaginable so I could have the Cool Grey Jordan 4’s. I had to have this shoe and when I got it, it was half a size too big for me! Now, here I am working with a brand that I’ve worn my entire life. Sneakers has taken me to places I’ve only dreamed of, just last year I was with the ladies ASW courtesy of Jordan Brand and the launch of the new women’s line. So much has happened in a year, I am grateful. I am looking forward to the future and all I can say is thank you to all of you who read this blog, watch my YouTube videos, share my posts and everything under the sun. Thank you!
THE DECOR + THE AIR JORDAN 11 ‘BLACK & WHITE’
About a month ago, I got a call from a friend of mine the one and only Ciara Jibri, telling me how it was time for me to have an event! I’m like have an event and do what? Literally, this is just not my area of expertise but somehow we made it happen with some late hours of planning and constant emails! The idea was to have an elevated breakfast experience while bringing in hints of ‘Black & White’ as seen on the new Women’s Air Jordan 11. Experience Curator Ciara Jibri, thought we should do a breakfast themed event around sneakers cause that’s what I do, duh! From the tablescaping layout, to securing the vendors and gift bag sponsors, Jibri brought the ideas from the deck to life. We added a nice pop of pink to bring some color to the space. We added beautiful black and white rugs and a table setting that was just as beautiful with floral and added greenery. My favorite element was the black lacquered chairs with the light pink seat cushioning. Jibri, added touches of more greenery to the table runner, layered candles and having our sponsor Gancia Prosecco at the table as well. I thought a great way to showcase the shoe would be on our champagne wall and cake stands on the table. Alaia and Ciara killed this, effortlessly! The ladies were a dream team on setting the table and preparing the room! The menu fir right on in with the feel which included avocado toast and pink pancakes.
TO THE LADIES IN THE PLACE WITH STYLE & GRACE, THE GUEST LIST
The guest list contained people in the community who I either worked with, would like to get to know or I admire what they are doing in their respective fields. It was important to bring those to the table who I thought could benefit from knowing one another. We split up our friend groups and made sure you got a chance to know your neighbor, the person across from you and down the table. The guests had an amazing time from what I could see and the prosecco was popping left and right. The ladies uplifted me with so much good energy. I've worked with them or have seen them at events over the years and it was just amazing to feel the love in the room. Truly a feeling I'll never forget.

Thank you to everyone who attended this event, a huge thank you to Jordan Brand and SVRN for coming through with a huge opportunity for me. Literally you guys let me give away shoes! I would of never ever thought that was possible! I cannot thank you all enough. To every single person on the SVRN team Adam, Alaia, Oogie, Ciara and her team, thank you all. I could never pull this off without all of you.
